Steiner schools form the largest group of independent non-denominational schools in the world*. There are currently over 1,200 Steiner schools worldwide and 2,000 Early Years settings in a total of 60 different countries, 36 in the UK & Ireland.
The School Inspection Service inspected Steiner Waldorf Schools until 2019. This inspectorate is now closed. As required by the Department for Education, all the current inspection reports of Steiner Waldorf Schools will remain on this website for three years.
